Wood Stain

A form of thin paint that is formulated to ensure the pigment penetrates the surface rather than leaving a film remaining on the surface of the wood. The stain is normally made with dye or pigment and solvent with a small amount of binder.

The wood stain helped protect the wood and gave it a pleasant appearance.
